When you contact us, either through our website or via other contact methods, you do so at your own discretion and provide personal details at your own risk. You should check the relevant site’s terms and conditions and privacy policies. You are advised to use social media cautiously – especially in regard to your personal data.
We ask for kind and respectful language and behaviour with any and all interactions with FCS and its audience (including any public comments on social media, podcast, and Pinterest). Any unkind, offensive, abusive, or discriminatory comments may be deleted and the offending account (and any other accounts they use) may be blocked from interacting with our content.
We are not responsible for any contact or interaction you have with third parties – including those featured in our content. When you click on a link to a third party, through our content, their terms and conditions and privacy policies apply. You should check the relevant site’s terms and conditions and privacy policy.
PRODUCT & SERVICE DESCRIPTIONS
We take great care to ensure all product and service descriptions, details, measurements, prices and images are correct on the website shop – however occasionally slight variations might occur due to different production runs, the production process, custom specifications, photography lighting, and the appearance of colours varying on different screen displays and in real life.
All prices displayed exclude VAT, as FCS is not a VAT registered business, and are stated in GBP (£).
ORDERING VIA THE SITE SHOP
To order products from the site shop simply view the product listing(s), enter any variable options required (if applicable), enter the quantity wanted, add to your basket, and then complete the checkout.
Please note: if you are waiting for an email order confirmation, or a download link for a digital file, then check your junk/spam folder in case it has been sent there by mistake.
If you do not agree to any of these terms then you should not place any order via the site shop.
The site shop is intended for users in the United Kingdom and those over 18 years of age. FCS will not knowingly enter into any contract/transaction with anyone under 18 years of age or outside of the UK.
All payments via the site shop are made through the Stripe payment facility. Stripe accepts all major credit and debit cards. Payments can only be made in GBP (£).
Your order will not be processed or dispatched until you have paid. Once you have paid you enter into a contract with FCS and are bound by these terms.
All products are subject to availability.
LIVE EVENTS
As the aim of For Creatives’ Sake is to celebrate, support, and encourage creative women in the UK, many of our live events are intended for women only. This is to create a safe and supportive environment where creative women can share experiences and empower each other to keep being creative (especially within business, where it can often be challenging). These events are held as an act of ‘positive action’ under the Equality Act 2010, intended to advance equality of opportunity for women, and are not intended to discriminate against anyone else.
All of our live events are for those aged 18 and over and UK residents only.
If a ticket is purchased, or attendance occurs, by anyone outside of this eligibility group, we reserve the right to cancel the ticket and issue a full refund, and/or respectfully refuse entry to the event.
Any tickets are for individual use only and non-transferable.
Tickets for live events are exempt from the usual 14-day cancellation period. See ‘CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & RETURNS FOR ORDERS VIA THE SITE SHOP’ terms below for more information.
Details for attending a live event will be stated on the product/event listing and/or on the ticket.
FCS is not responsible for any loss, damage, or costs incurred as a result of attending or being unable to attend an event. This does not include any liability which we cannot legally limit.
Attendees must treat all hosts, speakers, guests, audience members, and fellow attendees with respect. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour (including offensive comments) will result in removal from the event without refund.
ONLINE EVENTS HOSTED VIA ZOOM
For ticketed online events hosted via Zoom – after purchasing, you will receive a download link for a PDF ticket. Your PDF ticket will include the Zoom link and passcode you need to join the call/meeting. Please do not share the link with anyone else – only registered ticket holders may attend.
To see the system requirements and supported devices for attending the event via Zoom, please see the relevant information provided on the Zoom website: for the desktop Zoom app, for the mobile Zoom app, for the web Zoom app. To see how to join a Zoom call/meeting, please also see the information provided on the Zoom website: joining a meeting with the invitation link.
You MUST join the Zoom call with the same name you used to purchase your ticket, otherwise we won’t know it’s you and you won’t be able to join the call. You should check your Zoom profile display name before joining.
LIVE PODCAST RECORDINGS
Guest line-ups may change up until the live recording. Changes to the guest line-up are not a reason for cancellation as alternative guests will take part wherever possible.
Recordings will still go ahead as planned if one guest can’t attend (unless only one guest was scheduled to attend in which case, we’ll postpone). However, if two or more guests can’t attend, if Kerri can’t host, or if technical issues prevent the event from taking place, we’ll postpone. If we need to postpone and can’t find a new date within a reasonable timeframe, the recording will be cancelled, and any tickets refunded. See ‘CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & RETURNS FOR ORDERS VIA THE SITE SHOP’ terms below for more information.
Where there is an opportunity for audience questions, please note, unfortunately, we may not have time to ask/answer everyone’s questions. Please be understanding that we have limited time, and it will be up to FCS which questions are covered during the event.
By attending a live recording, you agree to being part of the audience recording. Where there is an opportunity for you to ask a question – by doing so, you agree that FCS may record, edit, and share your question – and that your voice, name, face, and business name (if you have one) may be published and shared, as part of the episode, on podcast platforms, and to promote the podcast on our website, social media, email newsletter, and Pinterest. Your face and/or voice may also be published and shared, as part of the general audience participation, on podcast platforms, and to promote the podcast on our website, social media, email newsletter, and Pinterest. Parts of the recording may also be used in future compilations or promotional content for FCS.
All rights to the recording belong to FCS. All content (audio, video, and other) remains the property of FCS at all times. Attendees may not record, reproduce, or distribute event content without permission. By attending, you agree you won’t make any claims over how any recording or content is used, now or in the future, even if the podcast becomes monetised.
FREE TICKETS/SPACES
Some live events will be free for all (if so, it will be stated on the product/event listing). Other events may have a very limited number of free tickets/spaces available for those who cannot afford the full ticket price. These tickets/spaces are offered at our discretion and on a first come first serve basis. We in no way ask questions regarding incoming or ticket affordability – and we therefore ask that only those who genuinely want to attend an event but cannot afford the full ticket price ask for a free ticket/space so as not to take the ticket/space of someone who needs it. DIGITAL DOWNLOADS
All digital download products for sale in the shop, and all other downloads available on forcreativessake.co.uk, are provided in the English language, and as PDF files (unless otherwise stated on the product page/listing or download information).
You will need an internet connection to download your file. You will need a PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to access the file. To download Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and see the relevant specifications needed for your device – please visit: https://get.adobe.com/reader/
A digital download product purchased from the shop is instantly available to download once payment has cleared. By purchasing a digital download product, you acknowledge you are expressly requesting instant access to the digital download (i.e. within the 14 days cancellation period set out in distance selling rules), and therefore acknowledge you lose your right to cancel (see the ‘CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & RETURNS FOR ORDERS VIA THE SITE SHOP’ below for more details – note: digital download tickets for live events delivered on a specific date are exempt from the cancellation period). If you are waiting for/haven’t received a download link after purchase, please check your junk/spam email folder before contacting us as soon as possible.
If you would like to have your entitled 14-day cancellation period (therefore not gain access to your digital download until at least 14 days after ordering) please contact us directly instead of purchasing through our site shop.
All other digital downloads (such as free templates) are instantly available when accessing the appropriate link – as stated in the download information.
All digital downloads (whether purchased or free) are for personal use only, unless otherwise stated on product page/listing or download information.
Where the download is for personal use only – the digital file may not be shared, distributed, or sold (in whole or in part) with anyone else. You are free to print your printable downloads, and create projects using templates, as many times as you like for personal use only (and to give as gifts) but you may not sell, share, or distribute (in whole or in part) any print-outs of your download, or any creations you make using template designs, for commercial gain.
Where the download is for commercial use (or personal and commercial use) – details of how the file (and any printouts) may be shared, distributed, or sold will be stated on the product page/listing or download information.
As with all FCS products – digital downloads are only available for UK residents and those over the age of 18.

All products, kits, tutorials, and templates should be suitable and safe for the recommended purpose/use stated, when used or created as intended. However, please always use common sense and due diligence when using products and/or creating projects using kits, tutorials, or templates, to ensure they are suitable and safe for your intended purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or death, caused by using any product, kit, tutorial, or template in an unsuitable or unsafe way – and we are not responsible for the suitability and safety of any third party products, kits, tutorials, and templates available through our site shop or as a free download. This does not include any liability which we cannot legally limit.
PROMOTIONAL CODES/OFFERS
We may offer Promotional Codes or Offers that apply to one, some or all products on the site shop. These promotions will have their own terms and conditions which will be found within these website terms as appropriate, OR alongside the promotional code/offer in promotional materials/posts/pages etc.
Unless otherwise stated in the Promotional Code’s specific terms – only one Promotional Code can be used per transaction, and the chosen Code must be stated at the time of ordering.
Promotional Codes and Offers are not exchangeable and have no cash value – they can only be used for the purpose stated within their specific terms.
Where a Promotional Code or Offer has an expiry date – you will not be able to use it once expired.
You are responsible for keeping any Promotional Code(s) supplied to you secure and we reserve the right not to replace any Code you lose or that gets used by someone else.
You must not share any Promotional Code(s) supplied directly to you with others (including via social media).
We reserve the right to change, suspend, or cancel any Promotional Code or Offer at any time – including for reasons beyond our control such as technical errors, or where there is a risk to security or fairness.

CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & RETURNS FOR ORDERS VIA THE SITE SHOP
WHERE YOU HAVE A STATUTORY (OR LEGAL) RIGHT TO CANCEL
When you buy goods or services from a business, in law you have a number of rights. These include the right to claim a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where the goods or services are faulty or misdescribed. It is our responsibility to supply you with goods and services that meet your rights. If you have concerns that we have not met our legal obligations please contact us.
If you have a statutory (or legal) right to cancel, we will refund you 100% of any money paid by you, including delivery charges.
To reject any items/goods for statutory (or legal) reasons please inform FCS as soon as possible. The same method used to deliver your goods should be used to return them. We will reimburse you for the return of goods for statutory reasons or ask you to dispose of the item, but please do not dispose of any items you wish to reject before agreeing with us.
DISTANCE SELLING, RIGHTS TO CANCEL, & CACELLATION PERIODS
Regulations relating to distance selling require cancellation or ‘cooling off’ periods when consumers (individuals) buy goods, services, or digital content away from the premises of the seller (e.g. via a website). Please note: these rules do not apply to business to business transactions, services delivered on a specific date/time (including online) such as live events, nor to goods made to a consumer’s specification (i.e. custom, bespoke or personalised goods).
Sales contracts (goods or goods and services) have a cancellation period of 14 days, starting the day after the day on which goods come into your physical possession, or the possession of the person you ask us to deliver to.
Digital Content not supplied on a tangible medium (i.e. a download) has a cancellation period of 14 days, starting the day after the day on which the contract is made – unless you expressly request access to the download within the cancellation period (by purchasing instant access through our site) and by doing so acknowledge you lose your right to cancel, and we then confirm your request and acknowledgement.
To use your right to cancel please contact us as soon as possible by clear statement – such as sending a posted letter, email, or completed ‘Cancellation Form’ (contact FCS to request a blank ‘Cancellation Form’).
If you use your right to cancel both your and our obligations under the contract end and we must refund all that you have paid us, including any standard outward Delivery charges (not premium Delivery services requested by you, i.e. faster delivery).
You will have to pay for any return(s), and you should use the same delivery/shipping method used to deliver your items to you.
OUTSIDE ANY STATUTORY OR DISTANCE SELLING RIGHTS TO CANCEL
If any product is found to be out of stock after you have placed your order, we will contact you to choose either a suitable alternative or refund.
Once your order has been placed we cannot guarantee being able to make any changes to your order.
If you wish to cancel an order outside of any statutory or distance selling rights to cancel please contact us as soon as possible. We will deal with each request on a case by case basis, however we reserve the right not to offer any refund.
If we need to cancel your order, we will contact you as soon as possible, but ‘serious grounds’ (reasons causing loss, harm or distress to us/others if the contract/order continues; such as, but not limited to: illness, bereavement, or legalities) may cause immediate cancellation from us, without notice. In either case we will refund you up to 100% of any money already paid by you – minus any reasonable costs.
We reserve the right to terminate a contract/order where: conflicts of interest arise, there is a dispute between you and FCS, you do not make the correct payment(s) when necessary, you breach the contract, or the relationship between you and FCS breaks down. We will notify you as soon as possible, and we reserve the right to retain up to 100% of any money already paid by you – to cover reasonable costs.
We will do everything reasonably within our power to contact you to make alternative arrangements if circumstances beyond our control (force majeure) prevent us from fulfilling an order; such as, but not limited to: road closures, major incidents, severe weather, technical failure, power cuts, internet faults, strikes, war, fire, flooding, or legal restrictions. We can’t be held liable for failure to fulfil any contract/order, for reasons beyond our reasonable control. We may offer you a full or partial refund but reserve the right to retain up to 100% of any money paid by you – to cover reasonable costs in relation to your order.
LIVE EVENTS
Tickets for live events (including online) are exempt from the usual 14-day cancellation period as the service is scheduled for a specific date and time – and are therefore non-refundable except if the event is postponed or cancelled by FCS – see below for details. We cannot provide refunds for attendee-side issues (such as technical issues, poor internet connection, traffic, illness, or trying to join a Zoom call with a different name from the one you used to purchase your ticket).
If we have to postpone/reschedule a live event, all tickets will automatically be valid for the new date/time. However, if you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, you may request a refund within 7 days of the new date/time being announced.
If we have to cancel a live event, all tickets will be refunded.
Our liability is limited to the cost of the ticket only. We are not responsible for any additional costs. This does not include any liability which we cannot legally limit.
Agreed refunds will be paid within 14 days, by the same means paid to us wherever appropriate. You won’t incur any fee(s) for reimbursement. All returns should be made to: For Creatives’ Sake, 6 Colebrook, Ottershaw, Surrey, KT16 0JU
COPYRIGHT & PERMISSIONS
The forcreativessake.co.uk website and its content, the FCS email newsletters and marketing emails, and the FCS podcast, are protected by copyright of Kerri Awosile (FCS founder), unless otherwise stated. This does not, however, include any third-party images and/or content (but does include any audio/video/imagery of third parties created by us for the purpose of our podcast). All images and content supplied by third parties remain the copyright of the copyright holder and FCS make no claim to the images or content. Please note, we are not liable for any legal claims or copyright disputes (to the extent permitted by law) regarding third party images and content on our site, in our emails, or on our podcast – including any infringements where someone takes or shares an image or content from our site, emails, or podcast.
